Adani University Inaugurated the Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) & welcomes a new batch of MBA students for the academic year 2022-24

Delivering the inaugural address Prof. Anil Gupta (Padma Shri Awardee, Board Member, National Innovation Foundation-India, Retd. Professor, IIM Ahmedabad) said, “The time has come to raise the boundaries of learning.” He emphasized, “Look beyond paradoxical learning, your job roles. Be open to experimenting; we should observe things, not just see them.” He also added, “Creativity and Innovation can come from anywhere. It does not belong to any section of society. And we should always have a bottom-up level approach. But we must also focus on what we leave behind for the next generation. So be a responsible citizen.” He also appreciated the thought the university focuses on – the Cross and Multidisciplinary approach.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. M Muruganant (Provost, Adani University) said, “We are looking at the long journey of sustainability which can be defined through – Translate, Transcends and Transformation. As an education system, we look forward to facilitating these all together to grow as people and professionals. And to contribute globally, the mind needs to be trained appropriately with the mix of IQ, EQ, and spiritually.” Dr. Arun Sharma (Vice Chancellor, Adani University) shared his wisdom and encouraged students to contribute to a more significant cause of nation-building.
The inauguration was followed by an orientation program for MBA (Infrastructure Management) and MBA (Energy Management) students consisting of academic and non-academic activities. The month-long orientation will allow students to see various industry experts and alumni
addressing and sharing their insights on what they may expect at Adani University and in Industry today. A total of 60 students joined the MBA (Infrastructure Management) program, which is a flagship course. In addition, the university has a newly launched MBA (Energy Management) focusing on the goal of sustainability.
