Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management hosts the 5th Annual Convocation

Ahmedabad, 11 April 2022: Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM) hosted its 5th Convocation for its 2019-21 batch on the weekend. The batch consists of two AICTE approved PGDM programmes in Infrastructure Management and Law. Mr. Nilesh Shah, Group President and Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management, was the Chief Guest. The Convocation Ceremony was presided over by Dr. Priti G Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation. In attendance were other dignitaries from the academic world, senior Adani executives and industry experts along with Dr. M Muruganant, Director of the Adani Institute for Education and Research.
62 students graduated this year. The efforts and achievements of exceptional students were recognized and rewarded.
Mr. Rohan Nandi from PGDM (IM) was awarded the Gold Medal for his Scholastic Academic performance.
Mr. Pakshal Adani, Ms. Juhi Gandhi and Mr. Vandit Jain, all from PGDM (IM), were conferred Certificates for Meritorious Academic Performance.
Addressing the students, Convocation Chief Guest Mr. Nilesh Shah, Group President and Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management, said, “India plays a crucial role in the global economy. From core infrastructure to digital Infrastructure, the growth is tremendous”. Mr. Shah added, “The values the graduating students have imbibed, and the many areas of knowledge that the students have discovered will equip them to contribute to the nation.”
Congratulating the students, Convocation Ceremony President Dr. Priti G Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, said, “For larger productivity gains, and to make infrastructure development inclusive and equitable, our focus needs to be three-pronged. One is upskilling and reskilling the workforce with new-age skills, in the context of sustainability and digital transformation. Two, empowering more women to join the infrastructure sector for productivity growth and inclusiveness. and three, being predictive, future-oriented, and expanding to newer areas.”
On the occasion, certificates of appreciation were presented to industry experts as well for their valuable contributions to teaching and sharing their expertise with the students of the Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management.
